Cake Pops
People who have sweet teeth can attest that the most irresistible desserts of today are the cake pops and cupcakes.
Cake Pops are cake and frosting all balled up in one, hand dipped in candy coating and covered in d?cor and served on a stick like a lollipop. You would need a cake mix, frosting, candy melts, colored sprinkles, colored icing tubes and candy eye ball for the decorations. First up, you?d have to make a cake of your own preference. Then, you have to add 2 cups of frosting and mix the two together using your hands.
With this batter, you create small balls about 3-4 tablespoons each. After creating all the pops, you?d have to refrigerate them for 1-2 hours or put them in the freezer for half an hour or so. While waiting for this, you can start melting the candy in the microwave. Once the candy is melted, you dip the lollipop stick in it. Then, you take out the refrigerated cake pops and push the stick 2/3 through them. To finish off, you need to put the entire cake pop into the melted candy and wait for it to dry. You are now through creating your cake pops.
Next up are the irresistible cupcakes. Cakes and cupcakes are quite the same considering the fact that cupcakes are just cakes that are small in size, baked inside aluminum containers. What you?ll need in order to create this masterpiece are some butter, sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, milk, food colouring and icing sugar. Also, you would have to buy some sprinkles, balls and petals for the decorations.
To start off your baking, you?d have to preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. You now pick up a bowl and put in it the flour, baking powder, cocoa and sugar. Pick up one more bowl and in there put the eggs, milk and oil altogether. Now mix all that is contained in the two containers. Cake pops and cupcakes are great desserts that can be made in your own home.
Once you?re done mixing, you pour the mixture into the muffin liners in the pan through the use of a spoon, with about one third of the paper as allowance for the rising of the cupcakes. Then, you place the pan into the oven for a period of ten minutes. Once the ten minutes is up, you can utilize a tooth pick to check if the cupcakes are really cooked. If they are already ready, you can get the tray from the oven and wait for the cupcakes to cool for about an hour. You can now spend time decorating the cakes with sugar paste, icing and sprinkles. Once done, you already have cool cupcakes worthy for a cake blog. Cake pops and cupcakes are some of the easiest desserts to create. To know more about Cakes and cupcakes visit this link.
